The Oracle AI Database Administration Associate certification covers the fundamentals of Oracle Database administration, from basic concepts to practical, day-to-day operations. It is intended for new database professionals such as database administrators, data warehouse administrators, database designers, and support engineers.
Topics include Oracle Database architecture, instances, storage, users and security, auditing, pluggable databases (PDBs), and moving data with Data Pump, along with monitoring the database for acceptable performance.
The exam is proctored online and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes, with a passing score of 65%.
Exam 1Z0-183: Oracle AI Database Administration Professional
The Oracle AI Database Administration Professional certification is the advanced DBA credential. It recognizes skills in deploying, managing, tuning, and securing Oracle AI Database environments.
The exam covers backup and recovery with RMAN, performance management and SQL tuning, installation, patching, and upgrades, and the multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs). It also includes newer features such as Lock-Free Reservations, True Cache, and Blockchain Tables.
This certification is ideal for DBAs working with on-premises, cloud, or hybrid infrastructures.
